Sick Children

Oh boy! Sick children can make life hell. As I do, I am sure you love the little ones, but when they are sick you will certainly second guess why you have children. I have an 18 month old that has become a nightmare in the last week. I HAVE NOT SLEPT. Oh, I didn't mean to yell at you. Sorry. He cries, screams, falls out, and will not sleep. Unfortunately I don't know how much of this is the sick part or the part that belongs to terrible 1 - 5s.

If I use some of the home remedies that I grew up on, I could go to jail on a number of charges. So, I have been following the doctor's orders. You guessed it, the doctor's orders are overpriced and way off target. Simply put, they aren't working. As a result, I have turned to repeated prayer and earplugs.

The moral of the story is: you do not have to beat your children; just ignore them.
